The Governing Council has approved an agreement between the Ministry of Culture and Spokesperson and the City of eyes for the reservoir for four years, extendable to ten, the complete collection of regional ownership births in the Nativity Scene Museum located in World the same town Ricote Valley.
Between 2010 and 2012 it proceeded to the restoration of a historic building from the eighteenth century known as the House of the Inquisition, for museum purposes of cultural and socio-economic revitalization of eyes and Ricote Valley, giving the Community 282 nativity scenes from five continents , from the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts of Murcia, for his first exhibition together.
Taking as a precedent this first agreement at the request of the City Council, it has approved the temporary transfer of the entire collection, comprising 541 belenistas sets, to be exhibited in the museum and provide it with greater appeal.
The Museum of Nativity Eye is part of the Regional System of Museums since 2015.
