The Governing Council has approved a proposal from the Ministry of Culture and Spokesperson, an agreement with the City of eyes to the construction of a pool, for which the Department provides a total of 235,000 euros.
The regional government's goal is to provide citizens of other municipalities in the region adequate sports infrastructure and promoting sport and leisure in the best conditions, ensuring equal opportunities for all citizens.
There are also reasons of public and social interest to justify their award, while City Hall is directed to a need to have adequate sports infrastructure that enables access to leisure and sporting activities on an equal footing with other of citizens of the region.
In fact, eyes is the only municipality in the region of Murcia which has no swimming pool.
The total budget for the project, according to the project report of work submitted by the City of Ojós amounts to 440,936 euros.
