The Cabinet has approved a proposal of the Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment, grants to municipalities paths eyes and Ulea, amounting to 49,686 euros and 88,440 euros respectively, to finance the costs of technical assistance to address force and the amount of the final certification.
This is work associated with the implementation of projects awarded by the state society Waters of the Mediterranean Basin SA (Acuamed) for the environmental recovery of the Segura River between eyes and Contraparada.
Acuamed is carrying out various tasks conditioning the river Segura, including an environmental remediation is included in the section between the Suspension Bridge and the Salto de la Novia, in the municipality of eyes and the environmental recovery of the margin Segura river left in Ulea.
These municipalities have an interest in the execution of the works identified by the anticipated benefit for the recovery of the river and the opportunity they offer for recreation and enjoyment for the people.
The Community, through the Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment, contributed to the financing of those works, so by decree some regulatory standards for direct award of a grant to these municipalities were approved to finance the works, they were tendered and awarded through Acuamed.
