The general manager of Consumer Affairs, Commerce and Handicrafts, Ana Cobarro, with the president of the National Association of Ceramology, Jaume Coll, and the Councillor for Culture of the Municipality of eyes, Incarnation Palazón, today concluded a series of lectures and notices included in the XVII Congress of the National Association Ceramology held in that municipality.
These days, in which more than a hundred experts and researchers has been aimed, explained Ana Cobarro "to promote the study and improve the dissemination of medieval pottery produced in both urban and rural areas in various archaeological contexts. "
Cobarro stressed that this meeting has served to disseminate "the rich historical, cultural and artistic heritage of the region, and to publicize the newly created World Nativity Scene Museum in Ojos".
As part of this conference is held, until Sunday morning, several cultural and tourist visits to different areas of the region, as the site of Medina Siydsa in Cieza, the Castillo de la Concepción and the National Museum of Underwater Archaeology in Arqua Cartagena, as well as the Cathedral, the Archaeological Museum and the Museum of Murcia Santa Clara in the city of Murcia.
