The president Fernando López Miras met today at the Palacio de San Esteban with the mayor of Ojós, Pablo Melgarejo, with whom he addressed some of the most important needs of the municipality, among which he highlighted those related to the repair of the pavement and improvement of the RM-522 between Ojós and the 'Salto de la Novia' (access from Villanueva del Rio Segura).

They also discussed the adaptation of rest areas in the Mirador del Salto de la Novia, the Mirador de la Zorrera and the Ojós Azud Viewpoint, or the next construction of tourist facilities in the Solvente area.

In addition, the mayor transferred to the president the suitability of building piers in the Ojós area, where the Segura river is navigable, in order to promote sports and leisure activities.
