The Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment, Javier Celdrán, this year was responsible for making the Christmas proclamation in the municipality of Ojós, where he also had the opportunity to visit the Museum of Nativity Scene in which it is deposited the collection of half a thousand nativity scenes and births held by the Autonomous Community.
Celdrán thanked the invitation and the opportunity to proclaim "such special parties as Christmas" in a place like Ojós, "whose exceptional beauty, with its river, its mountains and orchards, corresponds precisely with the idea and image that He has transmitted from generation to generation of Christmas and the city of Bethlehem where Jesus was born. "
After the ceremony, which took place in the church of San Agustín, Javier Celdrán toured the museum "unique in the Region in which the varied belenistic customs and traditions existing around the planet are shown".
A space in which the 541 sets -and thousands of pieces- are kept from countries on the five continents that are part of the Community funds, which are made in more than sixty different materials and among which there are pieces with more one hundred years old.
