On February 17th, until now, Councilwoman for Citizens, Esperanza Díaz, presented a letter in municipal offices announcing her resignation for "personal and work" reasons that prevented her according to herself "to be able to dedicate myself to the position with dedication Chargeable ".
Diaz says "to be totally committed to the Citizens project for my people, a project that I will continue to support now from outside of active politics".
Esperanza Díaz was independent councilor in the legislature 2007-2011 (directing the councils of Education, Culture and Women) and also in the legislature 2011-2015, this time like Speaker of the opposition.
In 2015 took the step of joining the orange candidacy led by Alberto Sánchez for "conviction that was and is the best group to give Ojós future."
Alberto Sánchez, current Speaker of the Municipal Citizens Group has wanted to thank from these lines "the excellent work developed by Esperanza all these years" as well as "his commitment and dedication to the municipality".
Diaz's successor already has a name, it will be the young David Martinez, 23 years old and student of the last year of the Degree in Biotechnology.
Martinez, who will be the youngest member of the Corporation, is for the Citizens' spokesman "the image of our support for the youth of the people who have to play a leading role in politics."
Martínez is also a special connoisseur of the reality of the field of Ojós for which he promises to "work intensely".
Martínez declares "to be very keen to get the necessary change for Ojós".
