Neighbors gathered here today, with the support of opposition parties, we denounce the following situation:
In 2011 a revision of the rateable value for the municipality by the independent group, such a review was first run by the Ministry of Finance, around the year 2012, which would mean a rise in tax bills was requested. .
Not being enough this rise, the PP in Ojós, decided to raise the tax rate of IBI in the years 2015, 2016 and onwards but modifies, representing a rise of urban and rural IBI, seriously affecting residents of the municipality in its economy, most of whom are pensioners and small farmers.
Today we declare to ask the representatives of this corporation, which since the crisis endure the cadastral update, be taken in agreement a decrease in the rate of IBI does not pose a major alteration in the economies of our neighbors.
If the surrounding villages have a higher than our guy, does not mean that we have to establish the same.
it does not seem fair that last year, with elections in between, is now subsidized by the municipality 30% of the receipt and this year is not done, but if a councilor of this city council with the money of all of us is released.
For all the above, the neighbors are present here, along with opposition groups (Citizens and PSOE), ask the team's governing Popular Party Ojós, the revision of the municipal tax rate, leaving it at the minimum value of 0, 4 in the case of urban IBI and 0.6 in rural areas, thus give a lifeline to our neighbors in their economy and so we will adjust closer to reality, getting closer to the taxpaying capacity of all.
