| The works, in which 162,000 euros have been invested, will facilitate access to agricultural operations and homes in scattered of the four municipalities | The Autonomous Community carries out repair and improvement works on rural roads affected by the torrential rains of September 2019 in the municipalities of Abanilla, Campos del R o, Ricote and Oj s, for an amount close to 160,000 euros.
The general director of Water, Sebasti n Delgado, who today visited several of the works, stressed that "we are improving accessibility to agricultural holdings and homes in the four municipalities, increasing the safety of users and responding to a request that had been transmitted to us from the municipalities ".
In Abanilla, the performances focus on several points.
One, 1.7 kilometers from the Macitavera road, located in the area known as the Prado, which serves as a bypass between the RM-A7 and the Baños or A21 road and gives access to agricultural operations, n Scattered nuclei of houses and to the elevation that the Community of Irrigators possesses, whose access is very frequented by the community members.
It is intended to act on the entire length of the road, reinforcing the tread layer in the first 800 meters and in the rest, a clean-up and correction of the potholes is carried out until its layout is completed.
The other action takes place on the rural road that connects the Mahoya road with the Mascivenda road, in the area of ??the Atajo, as it passes through the Rambla de los Calderones, where it is necessary to provide the rolling layer based on asphalt treatment in a length of 10 meters and a width of 5 meters.
The total budget for both works is 48,254 euros.
In Campos del R o, on the road next to the river, the rains caused unevenness of the slopes and part of the road surface was cantilevered, which represents a risk for road traffic.
For this reason, the clearing, profiling and concreting of 45 meters of ditch / chest is carried out, which as a result of the runoff was eroded; the clearing of the slopes affected by erosion in order to allow their reconstruction, including protection against runoff with concrete, as well as a gardener curb in one of them and 20 meters of bionda, with their corresponding flaps and two directional panels.
Additionally, 15 reflective plastic beacons will be installed along the entire road.
The budget amounts to 17,129 euros.
In Ricote, the path on which you intervene is located in the place known as the Rinc n / la Paulina and approximately at its midpoint it crosses the Rambla de la Mezquita.
The path is part of the Ricote-Oj s ecotourism itinerary and gives access to numerous houses and farms; It has a total length of 2,000 meters and operates on 1.40 with a budget of 48,376 euros.
The works include clearing the banks of the road and cleaning the gutters; milling and demolition of the wearing course; cleaning and vigorous sweeping of the wearing course; irrigation of primer in potholes or sinkholes to be cleaned up; adherence irrigation; regularization of the tread layer, filling potholes, holes and irregularities by means of asphalt agglomerate; execution of a new wearing course; localized installation of gardener curb for water conduction; lined with margins, gutters and areas of water passage with concrete; and installation of vertical and horizontal signage.
Eight roads are repaired in Oj s: Cuartos Nuevos, Muelas de la Vaquera, Casa Barreda, May s, Rambla May s, Rambla del Arco, La Solana and Loma del Aire.
