The Ministry of Development and Infrastructure carries out a work to improve the road safety of the regional highway that connects the municipalities of Ojós and Archena (RM-522).
It consists of the reinforcement and improvement of the signaling, beaconing and containment systems of the curve at kilometer point 3.3 of the regional road.
The General Director of Roads, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, supervised the action, which will benefit more than 1,550 vehicles that travel daily on this route.
"We are going to reinforce security with the objective of reducing the accident rate caused by the reduced radius of the curve," said the CEO, who said that, today, a metal containment barrier will be installed, six panels directional and vertical danger warning signs for left and right curves next to the recommended maximum speed signal of 40 km / h.
