The head of the regional executive, Fernando López Miras, attended last night the procession of the images of San Agustín, the Blessed Virgin of the Head and Santa Mónica, as well as the traditional 'rocket' for the festivities of Ojós, where He stressed that "these holidays are something unique and a sign of identity of our culture, traditions and customs".
"It is the most important day of the festivities of Ojós", remarked the president of the Community, who explained that "more than 11,000 rockets illuminate the Segura river as it passes through the Ricote valley".
Thus, Lopez Miras put in value the agreement of all parliamentary groups of the Regional Assembly to support the declaration of Regional Tourist Interest of these holidays "because they are and because they deserve it."
