González Tovar stressed the importance of coordination between the Civil Guard police and the local police because it is the best tool to improve the security of the municipalities
The government delegate in the Region of Murcia, Rafael González Tovar, has co-chaired along with the Mayor of Ojós, Francisco Salinas, the constitution of the Local Security Board in the municipality.
González Tovar explained the significance of this body of operational coordination between the council, the Local Police and Security Forces of the State, in this case through the Civil Guard.

The Government delegate proposed that the City of Ojós sign various cooperation agreements between the Ministry and the municipality both in terms of security, shared database of crimes and offenses between local police and Civil Guard, as well as the fight against gender violence.
To this end, the Board explained the contents of both conventions and protocols for its implementation.
Moreover, the government delegate explained that the Civil Guard post located in Archena is responsible for the safety of the municipality of an eye.
He also said that since 2004, the office has increased its workforce by 46% to a staff of 19 guards.
