Twenty Párraga drawings are shown in'Itinerarios' Ojós within the project, the Ministry of Culture (21/10/2014)

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities and the City of Ojós organized the exhibition of works by José María Párraga 'Itinerancias: notes on an endless figure' tonight inaugurate the World Nativity Museum director general of the Institute of Industrial Cultural and Arts, Marta Lopez-Briones, and the mayor of eyes, Pablo Melgarejo.

The sample consists of twenty drawings Párraga (Alums, Cartagena, Murcia 1937, 1997) and forms part of the 'Routes.

The Director General recalled that "in Puerto Lumbreras you can visit for a few days the exhibition Itinerancias Decorative Carving 'and now a new exhibition opens in Ojós Patterned José María Parraga, a key artist in the plastic Murcia, whose work serves as a link between tradition and modernity. "

In 'Notes on an endless figure', visitors can admire a total of 19 drawings Párraga (ink on paper) through which can be seen clearly his constant preoccupation with the human figure: naked, popular scenes, characters who hide, monsters, mythological scenes, etc.

Works made between the decades of the 60s and 90s of last century, "which allow to appreciate the strength of an artist who, with his work, reflected human frailty," added Lopez-Briones.

The museum exhibition of eyes will be open until December 14, Friday to Sunday at the following times: Friday and Saturday, from 10:00 hours to 14:00 hours and from 16:00 hours to 20:00 hours;

and Sunday, from 10:00 hours to 14:00 hours.

Over the coming weeks, and again in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities, the Museum of the Roman Theatre in Cartagena will host the exhibition 'Myths';

in Murcia you can see the exhibition 'Body Eclectic';

Lorca, 'Nature built,' and to San Pedro del Pinatar traveling works of 11 artists built under the name of 'Enigma and fold', which will allow visitors to delve into personal worlds that are not conceptualized in a clear manner.

The presentations are made up of works of Antonio Ballester, Pedro Serna, Juan de Sande, Josep Guinovart, Equipo Crónica or Jaume Plensa, among many other famous artists that are part of the collection of the Institute of Industrial Cultural and Arts.
